Customers and guests are encouraged to wear a mask at all times inside the building, until seated. We also require all staff, delivery personnel, repair technicians, etc. to wear a mask at all times within the restaurant, unless fully vaccinated.
You will notice hand sanitizer dispensers mounted throughout the restaurant. We also provide hand sanitizer for customer use at the door, cash registers, and at our host stand. Each table throughout the restaurant (including the bar and outdoor tables) have a hand sanitizer bottle provided. All staff members also are provided with hand sanitizer bottles to carry with them throughout their shift or keep at their workstation.
We have switched to single use menus for each customer. Our food and drink menus are used for one customer and then recycled. We also have digital menu viewing options available.
We also offer low contact takeout options. Orders can be placed online or by phone for takeout. Placing your order in advance by phone or online helps us to have your order ready when you arrive, reducing congestion and allowing for social distancing.
Our beautiful outdoor patio is open. If you prefer to dine outside, we encourage you to make a reservation in advance.
All of our employees are required to complete a health assessment at the start of their workday. This assessment includes a temperature check and a symptom questionnaire and is kept on file for all employees. Employees with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher or who are exhibiting any symptoms are required to immediately leave the restaurant and be tested for COVID-19. Employees are not permitted to return until they have submitted a negative test result.
All of our tables are spaced six feet apart. This may not be possible in some areas of the restaurant, such as the bar area and some areas in the dining room. Feel free to tell the host if you prefer a socially distanced table when making your reservation. We ask that all customers socially distance when placing orders in our retail and takeout food areas. Feel free to call ahead for food orders, not only will your meal be waiting for you, in helps us decrease congestion.
All of our tables, chairs, and booths are sanitized with a CDC approved sanitizer before each guest arrives. All other contact surfaces such as door handles, countertops, and touchscreens are sanitized at regular intervals throughout the day. We have also installed Step and Pull door opening devices in our restrooms and on patio doors. These devices allow you to open a door with your foot to prevent having to touch the door handle.
We also have QR code menus available to view on your smartphone. This helps us eliminate waste! Open your camera app on your smartphone and scan the QR code at the front of the restaurant to view our full menu on your phone.
All silverware is provided in a contained packet and all condiments will be provided upon request in single use packages. If you would like to be provided with single use condiments like ketchup, salt, pepper or hot sauce, just let your server know!
We want all of guests to stay healthy! We ask that anyone who has a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, or any other common COVID-19 symptoms stays home.
St. Paul Fish has created a testing incentive program for our employees in order to encourage regular COVID-19 testing. In the event that one of our employees tests positive, not only is that employee quarantined in accordance with Health Department guidelines, any employee that they have had close contact with is not permitted to return to work until they receive a negative COVID-19 test. Any employees who have a member of their household test positive must also complete the required quarantine and then test negative before they can return to work.
